Inital Upload


I decided to play with the Godot engine a bit more and found this game jam, very few people are participating, however, it's still early and I am hopeful that more people with join the jam.


I wanted to make something quick and at the same time work on some of my game dev skills, while I have been mostly using 3D in the past with engines like unity and unreal, I have found that it takes far too long to design and then prototype anything in either engine.

If I am not waiting for things to load or compile I am having to fight the editor itself and at the end of the day I end up with lots of code that only works in specific scenarios, While I do realize this could an error on my part, as in not writing proper code and following the guidelines for maintaining a clean codebase, I also feel that a lot of the time its the design of the engine that requires you to jump through several hoops and lots of little annoyances.


However, with Godot, I was able to prototype extremely fast, and had a base product in only a few hours, as opposed to being stuck on debugging small annoyances.
