Some refactoring and changes
Upon playtesting, it was discovered that players would not know to press shift to run,
There was a choice at this point, do you create some kind of text screen and inform the player how to run or do I remove the ability all together?
In the end I decided to adjust the player speed to be the same as the running speed and disabling running all together, making the only mechanic platforming as quickly as possible.
There was another glaring issue, in the latter stages as things got more complex the cost of falling would become really high, having to start all the way over was not fun, it was decided to add a checkpoint system that would allow you to respawn closer to the end goal.
The pause menu was finally added with a way to go right back to the level select screen, quit the game or resume playing
